Alexander Sulimov

Alexander Sulimov

He was born in Kurgan in 1963 into a family with a rich artistic heritage, which deeply influenced his early interest and development in the arts. Nurtured in such a creative environment, he cultivated his talents and pursued formal education in the field. In 1987, he graduated from the Kurgan College of Culture, where he honed his skills and broadened his understanding of various artistic disciplines. Following his graduation, he became a prominent figure in the local art scene, regularly participating in numerous regional and city exhibitions in Kurgan, where his work was met with great appreciation and recognition.

Since 1994, he has embraced the life of a "freelance artist," dedicating himself fully to his craft without the constraints of a fixed institution. This period of his career allowed him to explore new techniques, themes, and mediums, resulting in a significant evolution of his artistic style. In 2002, seeking fresh inspiration and new opportunities, he relocated to the Samara region, settling in the picturesque town of Zhigulevsk. His move marked a new chapter in his life and work, bringing a different cultural and natural backdrop to his creative endeavors.

In recognition of his contributions to the arts, he became a member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia. This prestigious affiliation has provided him with further platforms to showcase his work, collaborate with fellow artists, and continue his journey of artistic exploration and expression.
